Springboks v Ireland Rugby: South Africa to host two-Test series.

Springboks v Ireland Rugby: World Cup winners South Africa will play a two-Test series at home against Ireland in July of next year, followed by their first-ever match against a significantly upgraded Portugal team.

Following the Lobos Test, the Springboks will play their longtime rivals New Zealand, who are now rated third in the world, in international matches in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

The team captained by Rassie Erasmus will play Portugal (location TBC) on July 20 before facing Ireland in Pretoria and Durban on July 6 and July 13.

Argentina returns to the Lowveld for the first time in eight years to wrap up the Rugby Championship following back-to-back games against the All Blacks.

Tickets for the first Ireland Test in Pretoria (6 July) will go on sale on 4 March and for the second encounter in Durban (13 July) on 11 March. Tickets for the historic match against Portugal in Bloemfontein will go on sale on 22 March, with all purchases to be made through Ticketpro.

Meanwhile, tickets for the “Battle of Mbombela” against Argentina will hit the market on 13 March (on Computicket).

SA Rugby announced that tickets for the three July Tests will go on sale next month.
